M. Barinova "Vladimir Mau: "To transform Russia's economy into the economy that generates and perceives innovation is more difficult problem than the transition from communism to a market economy"
In an interview with Vladimir Mau, Rector of the Academy of National Economy under the RF Government, such issues as the causes of economic crisis and its implications for different countries, mass unemployment were considered. Three restrictor effectiveness of economic policy were noted: the quality of political and law enforcement institutions, monopoly, inflation. It was noticed that economic laws are not strongly promotes innovative development, political institutions are not sufficiently effective. It is said that to solve the problems of unemployment, the state which must deal with social support exists. It is concluded that modernization is necessary and that growth based on unearned money and not related to productivity cannot be sustained.
